How to Become an Empire Merchants Customer

We’re excited to start working with you! To open an Empire Merchants account you must complete the New Accounts Application below. If you would like this form faxed to you please call (718) 255-2641 and ask for the New Accounts department or email newaccounts@empiremerchants.com

Please note, the following information will be required of you when opening a new account:

A valid license issued from the New York State Liquor Authority.
A completed ST-120 form and a copy of the Certificate of Authority.
If you are an owner/officer of other establishments that hold New York State on-premise liquor licenses, please complete the Also Owns form.
In order for Empire Merchants to extend credit terms, a personal guarantee is required.

Please allow up to five business days for credit application processing.

Upon receiving your New York State liquor license:

To set up your customer account at Empire Merchants, we must receive a New York State Resale Certificate with a valid New York State Tax ID number. For more Information on New York State liquor license requirements, visit www.abc.state.ny.us.

Effective November 6, 2020, Empire Merchants will resume business. Please review the details below regarding our operating plan.

Orders can be placed starting at today, November 6th, for delivery on Monday, November 9th . Orders can be placed by your Sales Rep, the Order Dept or 3rd parties ( i.e. Beverage Media, sevenfifty, Provi)

• Please note – Any new orders that were taken after 5pm on October 30th that were not transmitted on Pocket Advantage or via 3rd parties (i.e. Bev Media, 750, Provi, EDI, etc) were cancelled.

Orders for November allocated items can be placed starting Friday, November 13th by your Sales Rep or by calling the Order Department at 9am per our normal policies.

• All orders placed for November allocated items on October 30th were cancelled and will need to be reordered.

Empire Merchants Customer Service and COD departments will be open at 9am on Friday. Reporting to the New York State Liquor Authority will continue, so it is important to follow normal payment schedules.

If you are a registered user of Empire Merchants’ Online Bill Pay or Pay By Phone systems, you can continue to pay bills and view account information.

Delivery Update

• All orders for regular and Bill and Storage release orders placed by 5pm on Friday, October 30, 2020 have been loaded and will be shipped today, November 6, 2020. DO NOT RE-ORDER.

• These orders will be due based on the date of delivery.

Empire Merchants will be closed on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 for Veterans Day so there will be no deliveries.
